The sign said "Warning"

The dream had more to it, but I remember only one part of it. I was looking at a map of the US. Earthquakes were hitting California and I'm not sure of the size or location of them. But a word was printed at an angle across the central midwest from Idaho down to Arizona.

In giant yellow letters it just said "WARNING". That's all I remember of the dream last night.

It's noon, I went to the usgs.gov site just now to check on what's happening. This map updates live so this link is probably useless..but here you go http://earthquake.usgs.gov/recenteqsUS/index.gif. There is a line of quakes down that area of the country. Is it a warning of something pending?
