Lakota Indians of Florida

Last night, on my way to Tampa I was driving down I75 and had a strange eerie feeling. It was after I crossed the border into Florida. I looked to my right and I saw a beautiful open meadow bounded by ancient trees hung with spanish moss. It had some water but was mostly dry sage land. If sage grows here I dont know but this describes how it looked. The sun was setting and a golden glow was cast over the field and through the trees. It was an ancient indian place I knew it instantly and someone in my higher field said it was a place I should mark in my memory, that it had to do with Lakota Indians. I know nothing about Lakotas. I'm going to research it more. Northern Florida is speckled with horse farms. The land is actually very beautiful.
