Sun Surrounded

There was a cloud beginning to spiral around the top half of the sun, around the bottom half was another cloud spiraling in the opposite direction. These were causing the sun to darken. I had the sense that this was going to create a darkening of the sun that would last three days, but when i woke up i couldnt get it straight whether it was 3 days or 7 days.
