Our Dual Nature

If you search the web for information about the Dual Nature of Light you will find extroadinary articles about Nobel and his interest in researching the laws and physics of light waves.

We have a dual nature in spirit, it is in part, about the nature of light and in part about the nature of physics and yet its all so confusing. We have a higher self, and a lower self; a conscious and a subconscious and yet we are one. Many say we are one with universe.

You can not study light without darkness, for it is with darkness that we see light. Can we therefore, study our higherself without our lower self?

Some months ago a friend who had passed away came to me for the first time in spirit and spoke to me. He told me that I helped him cross over. I was actually concerned by that news. I thought he meant there was something I did in my living days with him that accelerated his passing.

Recently I read an article about how we astral travel at night. It also said that during these events and "out of body" experiences our soul persona can be called upon to assist in helping those who have recently died, cross over to thier higher realm.

The first level above the physical plane is the plane where most astral travel takes place. This is also, obviously the first plane the spirit soul travels to upon death. If the soul does not realize where it is, they can become stuck in that plane without direction. The astral traveler who is more in tune with the higher realms can see the newly deceased soul, and can see the higher realms. The new deceased soul who led a strong earthly existence may not be able to see thier higher guardians/angels and this is where these astral travelers can be asked to assist, or merely step in to assist.

Roger was part Cherokee. When he died I researched the Cherokee beliefs to see what I could do to honor his soul. We lit a candle every night for seven nights, which (from what I read) is how long the Cherokee believes it takes to allow thier soul to ascend.

Just Darn Busy

I've been too busy to write much. Its been busy at work, at home as well as the spiritual plane. My crow came to visit Friday, a week ago. I knew he was heralding news of a new job just like the last time he came. This time I spoke to him (just a hello and how are you, out loud) I was startled that his Caw changed to a strange chatter that I never heard a crow do before. The two people standing with me were startled as well. I told them he was a friend of mine (I'm sure they think I"m nuts but who cares). He cawed again and I spoke to him again... and his response was a chatter again. I thanked him for visiting me and went back into work. That night I fell very ill and was out of work for a week. I returned yesterday to work, and low and behold the new job they'd discussed with me sometime ago that was onhold.. was now mine. I started in my new role yesterday.

I've had three friends who have passed away, visit me in the last seven days, George (see the post Monday, August 22, 2005 LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDS for an update there). One was a friend who passed a year or so ago, I'll figure out the conenction later but it has to do with a woman who I was with and her Indian connection (he was part Cherokee) One is a newcomer and it surprised me because he died less than two months ago. He told me he is proud of his baby girl (his sweetheart) and that she is doing well.
